Now that the Arab/Israeli conflict has faded from the mainstream circles, I would like to take this time to remind those reading that the war has not stopped. Not only has it not stopped, Hezbollah has been bombarding Israel with thousands of missiles from Lebanon since October 7th, displacing over 20,000 Israelis from northern Israel. Lest we are ignorant, Hezbollah has terror cells all over the world including Latin America and the US for a number of decades.
This isn’t unique to the West. Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have a presence all over the continent of Africa, where much of the terror on the continent is already funded by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Hezbollah flags being flown in the US at the latest anti-Israel protests are not without purpose. There is a reason why at these same protests, sentiments of the Muslim prophet Mohammed and his army returning to kill the Jews are expressed. It is not simply a random thing when Jews are being accosted in front of their synagogues and beaten in the streets. And the main reason why it continues to go unabated is because of two main reasons:
Our leaders are allowing it.
The people lack the collective backbone (or awareness) to address it
Last week, my family and I participated in the very first African Jewish Alliance Washington DC Summit. The
is an organization that fights to end slavery on the African continent. I, my wife, and my parents are all active members, along with several other African Christians, Muslims and ex-slaves from Nigeria and Sudan mainly. We spoke with our senators and congressmen, and addressed the press. One of the things that our dear colleague and friend said at the summit was that not only is the same jihadi terror in Africa here in the US, but the West—Americans in particular—are being groomed for persecution.
How exactly does one become groomed to be ruled over? The article below spells out some of the more recent key components that have contributed to this.
A quote from the article:
“In 2015, right after the Islamist couple shot up a public place in San Bernardino, CA, one of their neighbors spoke up in an interview and said that they noticed extremely suspicious behavior, but decided not to say anything for fear of being called racist or Islamophobic. A UPS man said that he would deliver up to 12 packages in one day, which he also found suspicious, but also said nothing.”
“I know that is the norm my generation and younger have grown up in, but it is not supposed to be. What we are seeing now with Gen Z kids on TikTok praising Osama Bin Laden and even worse, college professors and students celebrating all over the US what Hamas did on October 7th, is a result of about 30 years of mental and emotional warfare, and we are losing.”
Right now, the prayers of my Israeli and Jewish friends are that their children do not have to be sent to a full-scale against Hezbollah, but sadly, it is becoming more uncertain that prayer will be answered.
We should all have the same prayer. If Israel and Hezbollah engage in all-out war, we may see some of those cells around the world mobilized and activated. October 7th happens everyday in Nigeria, and that day—that era—is coming to the West. Sadly for many, it will only be on that day that they’ll realize how deeply they’ve been fooled.
I’m not willing to wait for that day, but we may not have a choice in the matter.
