Pro-Jihad Protestors, Candace Owens, and Blood Libels

Anti-Israel groups across the country had their “300 Days of Genocide” events yesterday.

It’s interesting that they count this war from the same exact day as those affected by the October 7th attacks.

Almost as if 300 days ago, a war was declared by their side.

And, here’s the kicker that I will never live down. These same people who held their death to Israel demonstrations yesterday were the same people who held public celebrations on October 8, 2023.

They celebrated the invasion, the rockets, and the Israelis slaughtered.

And among the nasty slogans they chanted, the one they yelled out very loudly and repeatedly is “there is only one solution! Intifada revolution!”

Which is also interesting, because I remember in 2021, the general consensus among them was that intifada had nothing to do with violence.

So they are squirmy at best; maniacal at worst.

You know who else fits this description?

Candace Owens.

Candace Owens continues to peddle lies about Israel on her show; unverified stories, half truths, and deceptions. When pressed, she hides behind her newfound Christianity.

I will take some time later and highlight a few things in depth, but some of it I’ve already addressed on this platform months ago. I will address this one thing however.

She repeated a blood libel about Jews on her show the other day. She cited the Damascus Affair, which is actually a story about how the Jews were lied to and believed to murder two men and use their blood for matzah. The actual story cites that the man who accused them of it had no evidence except some bones he found that no one ever confirmed were even human bones. A snippet of the documentation is below:

“When some bones were found in a sewer in the Jewish quarter, the accusers proclaimed that they were those of Thomas, and buried them accordingly. An inscription on the tombstone stated that it was the grave of a saint tortured by the Jews. Then more bones were found, alleged to be those of Ibrahim ʿAmāra. But a well-known physician in Damascus, Dr. Lograso, refused to certify that they were human bones, and requested that they be sent to a European university for examination. This, however, met with the opposition of the French consul. The authorities then announced that, on the strength of the confessions of the accused and the remains found of the victims, the guilt of the Jews in the double murder was proved beyond doubt. They also seized 63 Jewish children so as to extort the hiding place of the victims' blood from their mothers.”

So not only were the bones never confirmed human, it was simply decided that someone’s empty confession was good enough.

She then tells this story and basically takes the baton from the man who made an empty claim, which is all kinds of dangerous. Because, if you know the story, it led to other blood libels until Jews were beaten and murdered across Poland. It was this particular blood libel, and many others that Adolph Hitler and his Nazi party stood firmly on while expelling, and eventually slaughtering 6 million Jews.

So by bringing up the old story (as if she found some gem no one else knew about) and presenting it to her millions of followers as true, Candace is giving a not-so-tacit ‘amen’ to the Shoah (or Holocaust).

The thing about all of this is, her attacks are very thinly veiled. It’s almost as if G-d is giving His people a chance to choose where they stand.

Sadly, too many are sticking with her.

What we are witnessing is what many call the horseshoe theory. The far left people in the streets calling for the annihilation of Jews, and the far right commentator perpetuating an old blood libel are meeting in the middle.

And what is the most frustrating about all of this is that THIS WAS ALMOST 200 YEARS AGO.

Yes, this is from 1840, and the history itself says that people were trying to find an excuse to mistreat and murder Jews, seize Jewish children, and eventually enact a genocide against them.

Last point about this: If Candace “I’m a Christian” Owens really had a concern for Christians around the world, why has she still said absolutely nothing about Christians being slaughtered and living underground in Syria, Iran or Lebanon? Or the Christians in Nigeria who are being slaughtered and sold into slavery by Boko Haram and the Fulani Herdsmen? Why spend your time and energy unearthing a common Nazi blood libel instead of focusing on our fellow Christian brothers and sisters being killed for their faith?

Simple answer: she doesn’t care. She could not possibly care less, and it will become more and more apparent as the days go by.

We are living in unprecedented times. You had better know where you stand and stand there. Otherwise, you’ll get swept up, and you might just get left.

Meanwhile, there are still over 100 hostages that Hamas and whoever else is holding them refuse to let go. Hezbollah continues to ravage northern Israel, and other countries and factions are joining in.

The people of Israel will continue to live.
