5 Reasons Why You Should NOT Upgrade
I try my best to shed light and help people, and this article is no different.
Here are a few reasons why you should not become a paid subscriber to this page.
You hate music.
If the sound of music—any music—makes your skin crawl and suddenly gets you angry, you definitely should not become a paid subscriber. New and pre-released music is definitely shared here.
You hate being on the guest list at concerts.
If you hate music, then you’ll really hate this. Why would you want to go to a free concert, listen to live music, and meet the person who made it all happen? Wouldn’t that make you more angry?
You hate when artists care about issues bigger than themselves.
You may enjoy hearing about an artist complaining that not enough people come to their shows, or that they still don’t know what their sexuality is, and if that’s the case, you really won’t like this page. You certainly won’t like the efforts of JoDavi and his partners combating modern day slavery like African Jewish Alliance and iAbolish. An artist lending their platform to the biggest global human rights issue we currently face? Absolutely not.
You hate reading.
Reading? Yuck. You probably didn’t even open this to begin with, so I may as well leave it at that.
You hate change.
So many artists are either saying whatever everyone else is saying, or not saying anything of value at all. Maybe once upon a time, artists would truly go against the grain, or ‘rage against the machine’ if you will. But today, many artists have become a part of the machine without even realizing. JoDavi has been building his network of artists, engineers, and other team members, who are committed to and engaged in living counter-culturally with a goal of having a space for artists to express more without fear of being gobbled up by the machine. We’re making our own opportunities, and having fun doing it. If you prefer the machine, you definitely should walk away now.
I hope this sheds light on things for you. If you were unsure of how to feel about this publication, let this be a sign to you to run now. RUN!
If you’re still here… well, I’ll let you decide. 😉
