I have a lot of respect for my friends and colleagues at
. They do an incredible job putting out thought provoking, sometimes not seemingly popular content that challenge their readers and viewers. One thing I’ve been following from them is their podcast, hosted by my dear friend,
. What I love most about the podcast and Connie as the host is what she says at the end of every episode, which I think encapsulates not just the podcast, but FBT as a whole. She says:“…There’s no such thing as the Black perspective. Just Black people with perspectives.”
She also conducted the easiest interview I’ve ever been apart of. I can’t put my finger on it, but she’s very good at asking the right questions that naturally bring out her guests’ passions. I’ve heard her do it with her other guests, and she did not disappoint when it was my turn. It’s not as easy as it seems, but she certainly makes it look that way.
Anyway, FBT featured me on their latest episode. Connie and I had some pretty great discussions. I would say it’s probably the best way to get to know me as JoDavi outside of meeting me in person.
Check it out; and follow Free Black Thought if you aren’t already.
Thank you, my friends.
