Broken Hearts Mending Souls
The fair-weather activists are already starting to move on. Sadly, it doesn’t work that way for victims of any atrocity.

This post is from a dear friend and violinist of mine, Vika. I had the wonderful privilege of having her in my string quartet when I played in Jerusalem earlier this summer.
What you see on the first slide is an extremely common occurrence in Israel. They have entire hospitals solely dedicated to treating civilians in enemy territory.
It’s very easy to post infographics and screenshots from articles that affirm your worldview when you have no connection to the land or people. It’s easy to explain away the horrors we’ve been seeing these past few days if your vantage point is solely social media and extremely biased news.
It’s an entirely different thing being on the ground. Knowing Israelis, Arabs, Muslims, Christians, Druze, even Arabs in Gaza.
All I’m saying today is be careful of what you hear from other people. Just because they sound cool when they say things, does not mean that they are correct. And we have a lot of expert rhetoricians in this day and age.
The same people who enjoyed lavish support worldwide further revealed themselves to be what I’ve always said they were; fake, harmful, and Jew-hating. Yes, Black Lives Matter in Chicago posted this.
It’s literally the glider terrorist who glided into the peace festival, along with others, and kidnapped, raped, and murdered Israelis. BLM used that as their logo showing support for Hamas.
BLM has been telling us who they are since 2013. Maybe it’s time we start believing them.
Don’t fall prey to the foolishness and evil.
Much love to you, Vika.
May Hashem strengthen and comfort you in this time, my friends in Israel and around the world.
