Arab Palestinians are suffering, but not in the way that fits your narrative, I’m sure.
A friend of mine sent me a video of an Arab Palestinian young woman from Gaza. The young woman was recording herself evacuating her home, watching buildings demolished, and crying, all while she narrates in the background about how Israel’s aggression is the reason for all of this; not even once mentioning anything else about the slaughtering, raping, and kidnapping of Israelis that caused this in the first place.
I’ve written eight articles since 12 days ago when Hamas infiltrated and attacked Israelis. Please go back to read those if you haven’t, because this will build on those.
My issue with the video was obvious, but it also reminded me of something I need to share with you: those types of videos are 100% state sponsored propaganda.
How am I so sure of this?
It’s simple. You’ve seen from my previous writings (with sources) that Hamas oppresses the people of Gaza, and murders those who speak out against them. Hamas kills journalists who try to report against them. Hamas even kills those who dare to make social media posts condemning them. The people of Gaza are stifled by Hamas and their over-policing, authoritarian dictatorship.
Knowing all of this, what does it mean then, that we see a 4K instagram video from people in Gaza talking about how evil Israel is?
It means Hamas controls the voices, and messaging that comes out of Gaza.
Yes, the same group that fired over 5000 rockets into Israel this past week, has killed babies, kidnapped children, raped women next to their dead friends, slashed up entire families, and filmed themselves doing it, are in charge of their local and social media.
It means the people reporting are working for Hamas; whether they want to or not. I imagine that some of these “reporters” are scared for their life. They’ve seen Hamas torture people to death for penning articles like the one I’m writing.
So my question is, who will really speak up for the truly voiceless Palestinians? Not the ones who pretend to be voiceless, but somehow have a platform of 1 million followers. I mean the truly voiceless. The ones who have had their internet shut off, so they can’t post. The ones who are being tortured even now for trying to sound the alarm. The ones who have fled and are living in Judea+Samaria (West Bank) because they dared to question the status quo. Who will make noise for them?
People ask me why I’m so involved in Israel. My answer now is… well, some of you are involved now too. Just with not very much information. Don’t worry about me.
If you’re going to take up this cause, take it all the way up.
Otherwise, sit down.
