My parents homeschooled me and my five sisters throughout the 90s and 00s. Eventually, each of us either tried, or went to public/private schools. I spent my last two years of high school in a public school. My big sister tried private school for a little bit and found it to be too easy and slow, so returned to homeschooling. My four younger sisters had the closest thing to a balance between the two; they were homeschooled for a few years, went to a public school that my mom wound up teaching in (which was the only way she would let them go to a public elementary school), and then three of them homeschooled throughout high school while the other completed high school at the same school I went to.
