I wrote a song a few months ago in the middle of the night as I was up praying and bringing some things before G-d.
In my praying, I was very upset with someone, and as I was speaking on it, the Lord immediately showed me that everything I’m saying about that person is actually me.
Then, within the next 48 hours, a song was put on my heart.
That is the song I want to show you now.
It’s called I Remember You, and it’s based on Jeremiah 2:1. My Band and I recorded our parts in Oakland, California. Then I finished it off with my Israeli sister and renowned singer-songwriter, Shai Sol. We recorded her vocals in Tel Aviv, Israel, along with my brother from another mother, Elton Frank on trumpet. That whole evening in the studio was special for all of us.
The few people that I’ve showed this song to have ended up in tears. I hope that I can move you in a similar way. I hope this song can be somewhat of a balm for you. and for my Hebrew, speaking friends, there’s something in there for you as well. ❤️
