Two nights ago, I played a show at a beautiful house venue called Theater 5150. My band and I played there once before in 2023, and it was special then. This concert, however, was more than that.
For those following me, you know there was controversy surrounding this particular concert. In the last couple of weeks leading up to the show, there were some ticket refund requests directly linked to my views and posts on Israel, and the war right now.
Because of this, none of us were sure how the turnout was going to be; but we could not go any other direction but forward.
As it turns out, we played to a completely full room, and the entire 2+ hours was nothing short of incredible. I had a chance to share brand new music for the first time, as well as old songs that I haven’t performed in years. All my players and singers were locked in and full of joy and life that only increased with each song.
There will be some footage posted soon, but for now, here are a few photos.
Also have to give a massive shoutout to these two amazing people; Chris and Marcella. They are such big supporters, and so consistent, that whenever I receive their level of support from someone else, I refer to them as “another Chris and Marcella.” 😂
I cannot overstate how grateful I am for this family.
There are a couple of others there that I didn’t get to take a picture with who I consider super supporters and dear friends. My heart is full because of you. Thank you.
I have nothing but gratitude in my heart. Thank you all who came out and made that night what it was. I also want to thank my team, both on and off stage, who make my job as an artist 100 times easier. Your work is invaluable.
The next time I’m in Sacramento will be August 25th for a show with the full band at Guild Theater. Mark your calendars and stay tuned. ❤️
Thank you all for your support and love. It helps me to do what I do with excellence.
To G-d be the glory~
God is good!
