Yesterday, I posted a clip from one of my favorite childhood shows, Little Bear. My 3 and 5 year old sons love watching it now, and we were watching it together. There was a part in a scene I didn’t quite catch when I was a kid, but as an adult—specifically as a parent—it took me way off guard in the funniest way.
The part in this scene seems to also resonate with a lot of other people, as the viewership is approaching 100,000 as I type this to you.
I have a few theories as to why this clip is eliciting strong responses, both positive and negative.
I’d like to hear yours though.

Love it. And funny how you mention you don't even remember that scene as a kid...so you mean you weren't traumatized by the reality of it all? Or the mom fat shaming her bear cub?
