It’s never too late to follow your dreams. Kelesha Martin is a shining example and living proof of this. After classroom teaching for over 15 years, Kelesha followed her heart back to her first love-music. After returning to college Kelesha was a Visual and Performing Arts teacher for two years. During that time she had a regular gig at Borders in Davis, California. In an effort to improve her craft took online classes in Cubase and Reason to understand the digital work environment. Eventually, Kelesha was drawn back to her roots using piano as the foundation for her current work.
In 2016, Kelesha met Cori Jacobs, Grammy Award member,as she sought out collaborators with the goal of releasing a series of singles. Cori raised the bar, requiring that Kelesha send him only her best demo. Cori Jacobs would later be her video editor for her first video- “All Comes Back to Love”.Another collaborator Kelesha has continued to work with on songs, and video production is Kellie Rivers. She sang on several songs, “Earth Day”mixed by BZ Lewis-Studio 132. Kelesha has recorded with BZ for over sixteen years. He continues to make her vocal and instrumental pieces shine.
